Worship Leader and Coordinator (part-time)

About Cole Community Church

Cole Community Church (www.colecommunity.org) is located in West Boise. We are a church in revitalization that is slowly growing. We’re a gospel-centered church that values deep theology, authentic community, and mission.

At Cole Community, we see worship as a response to what Christ has done for us, engaging the whole person. Our worship gatherings are central to our life together, where we rehearse the gospel story through singing, Scripture, prayer, liturgical worship elements, preaching, and weekly communion. We desire worship that glorifies God, edifies His people, and equips us to live faithfully and missionally in the world. We have limited, but slowly growing internal resources in regard to worship team members, so we require a worship leader who can lead on their own, and be willing to help grow the team.

We aim for worship to be:

  • Biblically faithful
  • Theologically informed
  • Historically rooted
  • Artistically beautiful
  • Missionally relevant
  • Christ exalting

What Worship Looks Like at Cole Community

Worship at Cole Community Church is not just about music; it’s about proclaiming the gospel through every element of the gathering. From the songs we sing to the prayers we offer, every aspect of worship is designed to point us to the person and work of Jesus Christ. We desire a Worship Coordinator who shares this vision and will help us lead worship gatherings that glorify God, edify His people, and equip us to live as faithful disciples in the world.

We are currently a demographically older congregation that is slowly growing with younger diversity in our season of revitalization. We seek a unified and diverse worship gathering. Therefore we desire a worship leader who can lead theologically aligned songs that are tied to both the historical church and the church in our generation. Our main goal

In this season of revitalization is seeking to cultivate worship gatherings that will help ensure we can be an intergenerational church that passes the gospel on to the next generation.
