Art Ortman

Art and Dee have been attending Cole Community since 1986. Over the years, Art has been active in the teaching ministry of our church for Thursday Morning Men’s Breakfast, Cole Center Biblical Studies, Adult Sunday School, Sunday Morning teaching, and Growth Groups. Art became part of the Elder board in October of 2012.

Art is self employed as a Registered Investment Adviser, but his priorities are the Lord, his family, and staying healthy physically. Art and Dee have been married since 1969, have been blessed with two adult children and two grandsons.  While still working and being an Elder, two physical strengths have recently developed.  One is receiving a pin for giving three gallons of blood to the American Red Cross, and second being physically able to participate in the Idaho Senior Games. In 2019, Art was invited to compete in the National Senior Games in New Mexico and earned a 5th and 9th place in two power walking events.
