Steadfast – Resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering, immovable, unchangeable, irrefutable, unalterable
As we continue to work through the future vision for Cole Community Church, the one thing I am continually reminded of is God’s steadfastness. His plan for us is unwavering. He is not blown about by the wind of cultural shifts, never surprised by fluctuating circumstances, and is absolute in His faithfulness. He never changes!
The great news is, He will accomplish His plans in SPITE of us. As humans we often try to control our circumstances and over and over again God, in his mercy, reminds us that we are completely incapable of doing anything apart from Him. This is also true when we consider the work that we are called to do for Cole Community Church. God will accomplish His plan for this church in spite of our shortcomings. This is not a job that we take lightly, and we are often reminded of the eternal significance of our role. If this work were not important, the enemy would leave us to our own devices, but this work is VERY important and the enemy is going to use every tool he has to divide us. Let’s remember that this is GOD’s church and we are called to be faithful in seeking and trusting Him.
As we look to the future of Cole, we are encouraged about the decisions that have already been made about the vision for the future. Please join the Elders and the LT team as we roll out Vision 2022 on December 8th @ 7:00PM.
We have so much to be thankful for. Let’s remind each other that God is unwavering and HIS plan is perfect.
